About Sharon
Hi - I’m Sharon Danzger, a Productivity Consultant, Leadership Coach, Author, and Founder of Control Chaos (established in 2006 and an SBA certified Women Owned Small Business). I have a diverse background that enables me to offer a unique perspective on balancing priorities.
During the early part of my career, I worked for a global financial services company, gaining experience in a variety of areas, including commercial real estate, corporate finance underwriting, and corporate social responsibility. In the non-profit sector, I have experience in leadership development, governance, training, and oversight of an $18 million budget.
For years, I felt stuck in 'neutral' without a sense of fulfillment. Through self-exploration and the study and practice of positive psychology, I was able to make small changes that shifted me to a growth mindset and greater well-being. As a coach and workshop facilitator, I strive to empower my clients to achieve this same feeling of contentment and flourishing.
I hold a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MS in Real Estate from NYU. I am a certified professional coach and hold the PCC (Professional Certified Coach) designation from the ICF, the International Coach Federation.
One of my top strengths is my "love of learning." I am a Fearless Organization certified practitioner, a Trust at Work certified practitioner, and a Designing Your Life coach. I earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. I also hold a certificate from the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation in Leadership and Negotiation.
I enjoy being an Assistant Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania and was a guest lecturer at Columbia University's Executive MBA program for many years. Additionally, I am the author of "Super-Productive: 120 Strategies to Do More and Stress Less."
Finally, my husband and I relocated to South Florida from Northern NJ, where we raised our four (now young adult) children.
