START YOUR DAY STRONG

Do you wake up feeling sleepy?  Are you often tempted to hit snooze?

Starting your day off strong and with energy sets you up for a more productive day.  How can you get there?  Here are a few suggestions:

1.  Get enough sleep.  Studies show that getting less than 5 or 6 hours of sleep at night results in lower productivity and increased errors in our work.  Aim for 7-8 hours a night.

2.  Have a healthy breakfast.  Our body needs more than coffee to start our day.  Give your brain the nourishment it needs to function at its best.

3.  Exercise.  If you are able to arrange your schedule to exercise first thing in the morning, the release of endorphins will energize you throughout the day.

Creating the habit of starting your day off with nourishment and energy will help you to be more productive all day long.
